Honouring Canadian Inuit people

A collection of cartoons about Canadian Inuit life will be published shortly. This article was featured in the Montreal Gazette yesterday, and an accompanying show opens at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa Nov.1 . This collection of work celebrates the 40th anniversary of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, a national advocacy organization representing 55,000 Inuit people living in 53 northern communities. Thank you Aislin (Terry Mosher) for organizing it! My image is called “Ark” and it addresses climate change and the melting of the polar ice caps.
