First, do no harm

I’ve been thinking a lot about the increase of ‘appropriation’ in our industry lately and it reminded me of a really great missive that Milton Glaser wrote. (students, if you don’t know who he is, research him immediately! He’s a genius)
I think it’s a wonderful reminder to each and every one of us to every now and again evaluate how we are living and how we are contributing to the culture. Are we operating with integrity and behaving with dignity? We have the opportunity to create meaningful initiatives with our work, and in some sense I believe that we can make the world better (I know, it’s idealistic, but I don’t think that’s so bad)
