Hello all.

I’ve added this blog to my website so I hope you’ll find it interesting. I plan to write about lectures, trips, my personal interests and inspirations.

My next trip will be to Istanbul in October. It will be my third trip there, and this time I’ll be giving a lecture and workshop with the great Ralph Steadman. He’s been a hero to me since I was in art school!

We’ve been invited by the Aydin Dogan foundation. It’s a Turkish Foundation that hosts a yearly cartoon competition for which we have both been judges in the past along with artists from many countries including Iran and China. It is fascinating to meet people from around the world who do what we do, but under vastly different circumstances.

I’m really looking forward to it and I’ll report back when I return.
